A Baht for a Better Life charity concert was held in Chiang Mai on 30th August 2008, to mark the 39th Anniversary of Amari Rincome Hotel.
The event received tremendous feedback from both Thai and expatriate guests, who came to reminisce with live performances of all-time classics from Vichai Poonyayant 'The Pink Panther', Vinai Punturak 'The Impossible' Virut Yootaworn 'Silver Sand' and Dang Fantastic, with thanks also due to Italthai, Oasis Spa, WOW Studio and the many food suppliers, who made valuable contributions to the event.
The concert raised more than 270,000 Baht and the proceeds are being donated to Amari Hotels and Resorts' Baht for a Better Life charity, which provides funding for new school buildings and helps with the education of children from underprivileged backgrounds throughout Thailand.

Editor's note:
Close to Chiang Mai's historical walled city, and only 500 metres from the largest shopping centre in Northern Thailand, the Amari Rincome Hotel reflects the unique culture of the North. Works of art and antiques can be found through out the hotel and the restaurants offer the opportunity to try special northern Thai dishes, as well as Italian and international favourites.
